The Alfie Norville Gem & Mineral Museum

Situated in the beautiful Pima County Courthouse, the museum is commonly known as the Alfie Museum. Its exceptional collections make it one of the most spectacular places to experience minerals and gemstones. A fact that comes about due to its active and generous supporters. All collections are loan and donor-based. Some of which are dating back to the year 1892.

The Museum itself, is part of the University of Arizona, established in 1885.

The Imperial Flame at the Alfie museum

After years of being tucked away, the Imperial Flame, a 332ct. Imperial Topaz from Ouro Preto (Brazil), is once again available to the public.
“First revealed to the world at the GJX Show in 2016, it is a great pleasure to see the Imperial Flame exhibited in such a wonderful place like the Alfie Museum,” comments Alexander Kreis.
