In 1755, Immanuel Kant opened a window to the creation of galaxies. In a universe of swirling galaxies, Kant proposed the so-called Nebular Hypothesis enriching the understanding of their creation and shape. His insight provides a window to the creation of the Milky Way, the galaxy of our very own.

“The green hues at the bottom left remind me of the nebular’s centripetal force described by Kant. It is a wonderfull inspiration,” explains Alexander Kreis.
