Object of the month
In October, the German Gemstone Museum in Idar is presenting two pieces of jewelry with unique opals as its object of the month: In the “Australian Sunrise” ring, the intense colors of a black opal are due to its unique composition of tiny silica gel beads, which refract the light and make the colors glow. In the “Bay of Whitsunday Islands” pendant (photo), a beautiful boulder opal in turquoise-blue sea colors invites you to dream. The two pieces of jewelry are provided by Kreis Jewellery GmbH & Co.
